Why this page exists
The I Belong Programme is currently being restructured, and official guidance — including the Stage 1 application status shown in the current-status box on the homepage — can change with little notice. Rather than silently editing pages, we record substantive content changes here, including status changes and newly discovered figure discrepancies, so returning readers can see what is new.

Initial publication of the I Belong Malta Guide: homepage with a prominent current-status box on the Stage 1 application pause, trust pages, and dedicated guides covering Stage 1, Stage 2, the applications-paused status, eligibility, the courses across both stages, the Long-Term Residence connection (including a newly identified figure discrepancy between Identità's "100 hours / 75%" certificate summary and the Human Rights Directorate's two-course Stage 2 breakdown), and official contacts. All sources checked and dated as of this entry; every discrepancy and access-method caveat is documented in full in docs/OFFICIAL_SOURCES.md — including that humanrights.gov.mt and reforms.gov.mt return HTTP 403 to direct automated fetches, so quotes attributed to them were retrieved via search-engine indexing of those exact official URLs rather than direct browsing.
